Amit Sharma

An avid movie enthusiast, Amit Sharma, the in-house Ruby Visions Counsel, is a silver-medalist Advocate-on-Record in the Supreme Court of India, the Standing Counsel for Election Commission of India (ECI), Bharat Coking Coal Ltd. (BCCL), Central Coal Fields Ltd. (CCL), National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), CMPDIL (Central Mine Planning & Design India Ltd) & Government of India (Panel A) and represents them in various High Courts across the Country and the Supreme Court of India. Amit has many reported judgements including Constitutional Bench decisions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court under his name. Besides being associated with many important cases of the Country, Amit, often finds himself giving media bytes for legal decisions impacting various facets of the country.
Though Amit found himself attracted to the field of law right from his childhood, Cricket is his love till date and has been the longest serving Captain of the Supreme Court Advocate’s Cricket team, having played in the Oval, London, representing Indian Advocates Cricket Team, besides being the President of the Supreme Court Lawyers Sports Association. Amit also has been a National-level Karate player.
